This is our simplest meal. It takes very little prep time and requires no skill at all. Best of all, for just the two of us it makes enough chicken for 3 meals.
Simply place your thawed chicken in the crock pot for 4 hours on High or 8 hours on Low and forget about it while you go about your day. When the time is up, check that the internal temperature has reached at least 165℉. The chicken is now ready to serve. As long as you have used one of our chickens and not a supermarket chicken you won't need any additional steps or seasonings. The meat should be juicy and flavorful. You can of course add any seasoning you like, but we don't because the leftovers will be used in a variety of other recipes.
