Our friends John and Amy shared this recipe they created for a crock pot Lemon Herb Chicken. We are sure you will love it.
Fill the cavity of the chicken with the fresh herbs and as many quarters of lemon, apple, and onion as will fit (using roughly an equal number of each).
Sprinkle salt and pepper all over the outside of the chicken.
Place chicken and any remaining herbs, lemon, apple and onion quarters into the crock pot.
Cook your chicken in the crock pot for 4 hours on High or 8 hours on Low and forget about it while you go about your day. When the time is up, check that the internal temperature has reached at least 165℉. The chicken is now ready to serve.
